I just didn't do it (Japan)

Teppei Kaneko is an ordinary young man just getting started on his path as an adult. One day he travels to his first job interview but is stopped by police and accused of groping a young schoolgirl on the train. He denies this completely, but his pleas fall on deaf ears.

The prosecutor in the case ignores Teppei's explanations and he is arraigned for trial. In the face of a Japanese court system that finds 99.99% of people accused of crimes guilty he chooses to keep the faith that his innocence will somehow save him. He hires a veteran defense lawyer named Arakawa and his assistant Sudo, who only agrees to help with the case after a passionate speech by Arakawa about the problems with Japan's legal system.

Meanwhile, Teppei's family and friends join to support him as the Japanese justice system continues to work against him.
